Corporation was created under the Development Corporation Act of 1979
and is governed by Section 4B of the Act to develop, implement, provide,
and finance community and economic development projects to promote new
or expanded business enterprises and the retention of existing business
enterprises. Groesbeck Economic Development Corporation is funded by a
$.005 sales tax in the City of Groesbeck.
